I recently had the opportunity to speak to a fantastic audience at the #GROWTH Summit Delhi 2023 organised by the wonderful folks at Moengage.
For the presentation, I spent some time putting together my thoughts from the previous editions of The Indian Pivot into a short 20 minute deck. I think it does a good job at stitching together the diverse narratives that I have meandered through around the India 2 consumer story.

On 'India 2.1' being the target market for unbranded apparel, one of my acquaintances started a brand by the name 'Zara ki Tarah' and is doing extremely well.
Seems to be the right communication for the aspirational Tier 2 audience looking for good designs, quality products but at a bargain.
Dream11 / MPL etc, heck even Mahadev App successfully monetized India 2.1. The interesting thing is that their Apps are mainly in English
